AMSOIL Warranty Secure
As one of the leading synthetic motor oil companies in the United States, AMSOIL is proud to be fully warranty secure for all makes and models of vehicles in the United States. As a high-quality replacement lubricant, AMSOIL motor oils are proven to extend the life of your engine, keep it running smoother and prevent rust and gunk, which can lead to lost performance and breakdowns. Whether you are driving a Honda Civic, Ford F-150 or even a Dodge Charger, AMSOIL motor oils will deliver performance and protection that conventional motor oil could only dream of.
AMSOIL Limited Warranty
AMSOIL is proud to offer a limited warranty for our clients, where in the event of the extremely rare issue with our motor oils or protectants, we will make it right. Whether that is replacing your existing protectant or lubricant or even replacing the engine, our team will work with you and your mechanic to make the necessary repairs if the issues are related to our products. In fact, we are so confident in our products that we do not place a specified mileage waiver or any restrictions at all.
Do you need to use OEM oils & Lubricants?
No, you do not need to use original equipment manufacturer oils and lubricants in your vehicle. Not only do most OEMs use conventional oil from one of the larger oil companies you can find off the shelf, but there is no legal reason to continue using the same oil your dealership uses. In fact, it is against federal law for an OEM to deny warranty coverage based solely on the brand of replacement lubricant used. The only way a non-OEM part or lubricant can lead to denial is if it is solely responsible for the breakdown. When using AMSOIL, you will never encounter this issue, which is why we offer a warranty secure guarantee.
Amsoil INTERCEPTOR Synthetic 2-Stroke Oil Guarantee
AMSOIL also has a specific guarantee tied to its INTERCEPTOR Synthetic 2-Stroke oil that goes above and beyond the standard AMSOIL Limited Warranty. This specific guarantee would see AMSOIL cover the cost of engine problems for up to 24 months or 5,000 miles. For more information, please visit AMSOIL’s Runs on Freedom Snowmobile Warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions
No Dumb Questions, Just Dry Dipsticks
Does Amsoil work for any vehicle?
Yes, AMSOIL synthetic motor oil will work in any modern vehicle. You can check the specific viscosity that your make and model requires in your owner’s manual. If you are still not sure, then talking to your local AMSOIL Independent Dealer in Toledo, Ohio, can ensure you are getting the right oil for your engine. If you have a classic car, we always suggest speaking to one of our dealers in Northwest Ohio to make sure that your specific engine can handle synthetic oil.
What is Warranty Secure?
Warranty Secure is an AMSOIL publicity effort to get ahead of dealership led misinformation about the fact that you can use non-OEM lubricants and parts in your vehicle without voiding your warranty. In fact, AMSOIL synthetic motor oil will not only not void any warranties on your new vehicle, but it will also allow your vehicle to run better, cleaner and limit the damage wear and tear can make on your engine.
What does Run on Freedom mean?
Run on Freedom is AMSOIL’s warranty publicity campaign to ensure that owners know that they can depend on the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and use non-OEM lubricants and protectants without the risk of nullifying their warranty. If you encounter an issue, AMSOIL’s product warranty team can assist in protecting and resolving warranty-related concerns with your dealership or manufacturer.
What does the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act protect?
In Ohio and the rest of the United States, the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act protects your freedom to choose the brand of parts and lubricants for your vehicle or engine without the fear that you will void your factory warranty. If your engine has failed, the manufacturer or dealer must demonstrate that an aftermarket or recycled part caused the need for repairs before they can deny warranty coverage. If they are unable to do that, the dealer or manufacturer remains on the hook for the repair.
High Performance Has No Zip Code Limits
No matter where you wrench or ride, AMSOIL is right there with you.
