What makes 4-stroke power sports motor oil special?
4-Stroke Power Sport engines operate in a high-RPM, high- temperature environment, making them very specific in their engine oil requirements. In addition, because the engine, transmission, and wet clutch share the same lubrication system, 4-stroke engine oil needs to be multi-system compliant. Most blends will not include fiction modifiers for better clutch grip; instead, they will offer superior shear stability and high-powered detergents that can handle the combustion by-products from these high-heat engines.

No, not all 4-stroke power sport motor oils are wet-clutch compatible. However, we are happy to confirm that our 4-Stroke Power Sport Motor Oil is fully wet-clutch compatible in the following viscosities: 0W-30, 0W-40, 5W-30, 5W-40, 10W-30 and 10W-40.
If you are storing your equipment, do you need to do anything with your motor oil?
If you are storing your 4-stroke engine for more than 30 days, it is best practice to perform a full oil change before storage. Older oil can become acidic, which can damage engine bearings and cause rust. To avoid this, you should drain your oil, replace the oil filter, and fill your 4-stroke engine with new 4-Stroke Power Sport Motor Oil to help eliminate potential issues when you start up your engine for the next season.
