What Are Lubricants?
Lubricants are composed of base oils and have performance-enhancing additives that maintain your vehicle's main components, including the engine, transmission, steering systems and suspension. These fluids will reduce friction, ensure smooth operation and prevent heat and wear between parts within the engine. Transmission fluid, power steering fluid and gear oil are common lubricants that we sell here in Northwest Ohio at AMSOIL.
What Are Protectants?
AMSOIL oil has been chemically engineered within our advanced Wisconsin facility to remove contaminants and molecules that do not serve a designed purpose. This is why our clients can enjoy longer-lasting engines with 75% more engine protection against wear and horsepower loss when compared to traditional oil. As well, unlike other oil products on the market, AMSOIL oils will last longer, allowing you to double or even triple the number of miles you can drive before your next oil change.
Why Are Lubricants & Protectants Important For Your Engine?
Lubricants and protectants are essential to your engine as they can reduce the friction within your engine to eliminate the wear and tear that comes with metal-on-metal scraping. Additionally, many of our lubricants and protectants have additional properties, including preventing corrosion, increasing performance, removing harmful contaminants that cause rust or damage and cooling your engine down. These protectants and lubricants are a necessary addition to ensure that your engine is operating at peak efficiency and to prevent any potential damage to the engine or its components.

Transmission Fluid
As one of the best lubricant companies serving Northwest Ohio, AMSOIL has transmission fluid to serve your CVT, DCT, Synchromesh and Powershift transmissions. We split all of our transmission fluids into automatic, manual, powersports and hydrostatic. Whether you are looking for our Signature series, original equipment, racing or something else, you are getting a transmission fluid with advanced additives to better protect and power your transmission, no matter what you are doing with your vehicle.
Fuel Additives
We are happy to provide our clients with both gasoline additives and diesel fuel additives tailored to the vehicle you are running. With cars and trucks, agriculture, turbo-diesel, heavy-duty diesel, racing and motorhome options, our fuel additives will provide you with the enhanced performance and protection you have come to expect from AMSOIL products.
Filters
AMSOIL has been producing oil filters as long as we have been producing synthetic motor oil. Our filters are made here in the USA with advanced materials to catch dust, debris and anything else that should not be in your oil. We are not just limited to oil filters, though. AMSOIL carries a wide variety of other filter products, including air filters, bypass oil filters, coolant filters, cabin air filters, fuel filters, transmission oil filters and even crankcase breather filters. If you need a filter for your car or truck, we have it.
Compressor Oil
Compressor oil is a specialty product that we make for PAO, ester- and petroleum-based compressors such as rotary screw, rotary vane and reciprocating compressors. We offer ISO 32, 46, 68 and 100. Our compressor oil is not recommended for use with glycol or silicone-based compressor oils.
Gear Oil
We carry a few different gear oils, including our Long Life and Severe Gear lines, that help protect against wear and control thermal runaway while protecting against general rust and corrosion. With a few different viscosities, a Northwest Ohio Independent Dealer can help you find the right gear oil for your specific engine or application.
Cleaners & Protectants
There is a saying when working on vehicles that you can never have enough cleaners. AMSOIL offers a wide range of cleaners, including air tool oil, MP metal protector spray, and engine and transmission flush. These sprays do a variety of things, including cutting through rust and frozen components, restoring your fuel economy in your engine and transmission by clearing out sludge and deposits, and ensuring that your tools are clear and working as expected.
Steering & Suspension Fluid
Our power steering fluid helps seals remain soft and has excellent high-temperature protection to ensure that your vehicle's steering remains balanced and in control even when you are racing through the streets. At the same time, our advanced suspension fluid helps prevent fade and provides smooth damping, even in extreme temperatures.
Bearing & Chassis Grease
We offer several bearing and chassis grease products to meet the high demands that you have on your vehicle. From NLGI #1 grease for medium and heavy-duty operations to water-resistant grease for wet-duty performance, we have the grease that you are looking for in Northwest Ohio. Antifreeze & Coolant
As a Midwest company, we understand the crucial role antifreeze and coolants play in keeping vehicles running smoothly in the winter. We get freezing winters here, and antifreeze will help keep your lines free of ice to allow for seamless cold starts.
